Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Abbas went to the UN General Assembly on the 26th of September and besides accusing the state of Israel of genocide toward the Palestinians, demanded that the UN set a deadline for a 2-state solution.
Blood Moons Portend of Changing Times
All of this is happening at a very auspicious time. As discussed in an earlier news article the world is experiencing a series of four Blood Moons over a two year period. As explained in that article, the Blood Moon occurs during a total eclipse when it reflects sunlight being filtered through the earth’s atmosphere, giving it a ruddy bloodlike appearance. Four of these will occur between 2014 and 2015 and are linked to the Jewish festivals of Passover and Tabernacles (Sukkot). One occurred in April of 2014 and a second is scheduled for September of this year during the holiday of Sukkot.
In his book, “Four Blood Moons: Something is About to Change,” Pastor John Hagee of San Antonio’s Cornerstone Church linked such occurrences historically to the 1492 expulsion of the Jews from Spain, the founding of the Jewish State in 1948, and the last being at the time of the Six Day War when Jerusalem’s Temple Site was reclaimed.
Thus, it is at the time of the next Blood Moon that Abbas is expected to go to the UN General Assembly to demand that that body take control of the so-called peace process and set a deadline for the removal of Israel from Judea and Samaria.
While the events of 1948 and 1967 were obviously in Israel’s favor that of 1492 was not. This means that if there is any link between this heavenly event and historic occurrences affecting the Jewish People, there is no way of knowing if the results will be favorable or not, only that they may be momentous.
Meanwhile Iran is saying that it shot down an Israeli drone near a nuclear site and is using this as an excuse to arm Palestinians in Judea and Samaria.
Mohammad Reza Naqdi, the commander of Iran’s Basij force nationwide paramilitary network, speaking on Iranian TV said “Arming the West Bank has started and weapons will be supplied to the people of this region.” He also said that “much of Hamas’s arsenal, training and technical knowhow” had come from Iran.
Abbas Claims Jerusalem as Capital
At issue is who will occupy the Temple Mount, God’s people or the Palestinians? Although ostensibly Israel has had control of the Temple Mount since June of 1967, then Defense Minister Moshe Dayan gave Jordan control of the Mount through the Muslim Waqf or trust. They have used this authority to mostly bar Jewish worshipers from entering the Temple Plaza and even making it difficult for non-Jews to worship there (they are forbidden to do so). When former Prime Minister Arik Sharon entered the Temple Mount in September of 2000 it caused a Second Intifada.
If Abbas takes the entire issue of a Palestinian state to the UN there is no telling what might ultimately be the status of East Jerusalem. The original partition plan of 1947 called for the internationalization of Jerusalem. The rejection of that plan by the Palestinians and the following 1948 war for independence resulted in the Jews claiming the western portion of the city and Jordan holding on to the eastern portion.
But as the Temple Mount Faithful prepare for the construction of the Third Temple, we await the return of the Messiah who will come to the rebuilt Temple. Only the Jews can rebuild the Temple, not the Muslims. So it seems like that in these “last days” it is God’s plan that the Jews will maintain ultimate control of the Temple Mount and not the Muslims, regardless of what Abbas has planned.
